Touches of Spring

I love spring, almost more than summer  (and I love summer a lot!), so I am always trying to find ways to add touches of spring to life. I had yesterday off work and will have Monday off as well, so I knew I had to take advantage of the extended weekend by getting some things done around the house. With all of the rain we've gotten this spring, it's made it nearly impossible to keep the yard mowed at a reasonable length, so I decided to dedicate yesterday to accomplishing other things like planting flowers and pulling weeds. Planting flowers is my favorite way to add touches of spring. Our porch is now full of life!
